- As of March 5th on the Amiga Tech Web Page it was announced that a
- prototype unit will be on display at CeBit 96 this month. CeBit is the
- european computer fair. Anyhow, this new unit will have an EC 030 cpu at
- 40 mhz and two simm slots on the motherboard. Also, it will have an
- expansion bus that will allow the plugging in of more slots (zorro or
- pci?), video cards and other components. The key is that it will be
- modular and the basis of the design on the PowerAmiga due in 1997.

- Go to http://www.amiga.de and follow the links to the Press Releases for
- Gilles' exact words. I just wonder though about using 030s, aren't 060s
- cheap enough?
